A bad houseguest
Untidy, unappreciative.
He leaves trash all over,
and won't pick up after himself
The air reeks with his noxious fumes
from his farts
and the smelly food he cooks.
He’ll overflow the tub
And don’t get me started on the thermostat
It doesn’t matter if I feel too hot or too cold.
He does whatever pleases him
I’m too polite to ask him to leave.
I wish he’d just die
I try to be subtle and inconvenience him
with some mild pranks
but year after year passes,
and I keep up the formalities:
“hey, how’s it going”
and
“happy birthday…”
A bad houseguest
Untidy, unappreciative
He leaves trash all over
and won't pick up after himself
The air reeks with his noxious fumes
from his cars
and the dirty coal he burns
He’ll overflow the sea
And don’t get me started on the thermostat
It doesn’t matter if I get too hot or too cold.
He does whatever pleases him
I’m too polite to ask him to leave.
I wish he’d just die
I try to be subtle and inconvenience him
with some severe weather
but year after year passes,
and I keep up the formalities:
“hey, how’s it going”
and
“happy earth day…”
