North Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour online fundraising event hosted by the Communities Foundation of Texas where people are encouraged to donate to the nonprofits of their choice and help local charities fulfill their missions. Outlook for Autumn

As a busy summer comes to a close, it's time for a new school year to begin. I'm looking forward to this coming semester. It's going to be filled with several challenges, mostly academically. But I'm certain that it'll be continually growing into a better scholar and citizen. This is going to be my first semester taking only Electrical Engineering courses. In the past I've had some computer science, economics, nonprofit management, and film courses to supplement my Electrical Engineering curriculum. BrandedBites: Crudo (Frisco)

I usually don't like to post negative reviews of restaurants because I like to give the establishment the benefit of the doubt. I usually assume that if I have a bad experience it's just a one-time issue. But when I went to Crudo in Frisco, I realized it wasn't just a bad experience. There were serious flaws and obvious cases of mismanagement that I couldn't just let slide. Earlier in the day, we had made reservations, which weren't hard to get, and arrived at the restaurant on time.
